I was a Vistage member at Avtec. It helped with the isolation, sharpened my decisions, pushed my learning, and gave me accountability I couldn't find anywhere else. I became a chair in 2019 to give others that same support. Since 2020 I've led more than 130 full-day group meetings and more than 1,000 one-on-ones, over 2,000 hours with owners and executives.
I've walked members through selling their businesses, from the first decision through closing and beyond, and helped others find successors or work through personal situations that affected their businesses. Retention stays high because members know I care about them.

What's different about our groups
Annual retreat
Each year I take the group and their significant others off-site to strengthen the bonds that make the group work. Past retreats have been in Greenville, Charleston and Lake Oconee, Georgia.
Your 1:1s in writing
After every 1:1 you get your action items in writing, each with an owner, and they're the first thing we cover next time.
Sessions on what members face now
Recent sessions covered AI governance and succession planning. Recent and upcoming speakers and authors include Klyn Elsbury on effective selling, Gair Maxwell on building an irresistible brand, Sandy Gennaro on beating the odds, and David Friedman on building a high-performing culture.
CE groups
For CEOs, presidents and owners. One full-day meeting a month, plus a monthly 1:1 with me.
